Ease of use is a big advantage of the new silage clamp

This year, farm Eureca installed an 80-meter-long silage clamp from Bosch Beton to store grass and maize silage. After relocating from Schiermonnikoog to the mainland, they were looking for a solution that would ensure consistent rations and reduce labour intensity.

Thanks to the innovative portal system, the clamp can be operated by a single person—saving both time and effort. The concrete used is also more sustainable, containing less cement, which supports a future-proof farming operation.

According to dairy farmer Martin Hagen, the investment more than pays for itself.
