Project spotlight: stationary covering system for Omrin – Heerenveen
A great example of our custom work is the project at Omrin, SBI Friesland location in Heerenveen. In 2024, we equipped two new emergency bunkers with a specially developed stationary DUO covering system.
Technical specifications
- 2 identical silos, each approx. 10.8 m wide, 15–18 m long, 4.8 m high
- Equipped with fixed rolling tubes mounted to the rear wall
- Powered by two strong electric motors (380V) with slip clutch
- Front section fitted with custom bridge frames and dual winch system
- Wireless remote control with operational indicators
- Covered with Kevlar tarps – wear-resistant, durable, and built to handle heavy loads
- Includes full CE documentation and classroom training for staff
