Do you want to get more out of your roughage with an Agridek lasagna silo? Often, this requires a new silo—a large silo that’s opened and closed regularly. The Agridek Portal System is the perfect solution for this new feeding concept and for new trench silos. Thanks to the variety of portal system types, there’s always a machine that fits your silo size perfectly.
The portal system always works in combination with a permanent Agridek cover and a corresponding water management system, allowing the cover to be easily and automatically filled with (brine) water.

Because the portal moves along the silo walls, the machine can easily be driven away while the silo is being filled. Thanks to the stable A-frame construction, the portal system can pull the entire cover tight, ensuring it fits perfectly in the silo. In addition, the portal system can quickly roll up the cover with fully filled water hoses. This keeps the cover hoses pressed against the silo wall, preventing rainwater from entering the silo.

Limitations
Existing trench silos are generally not designed for all cuts of grass and often require a soil embankment. In such cases, an Agridek Rail System is often a better solution.
